On 3-3-22, I stopped and picked up some fish. I had them in a bag with water in it. My 8 week old lab accidentally punctured the bag. Fish were flopping around with no water so I rushed into Home Depot, asked where I can get cool water.
A young girl that worked behind counter rushed over and grabbed the bag and helped me out, she had a water bottle filled with water and put my fish in there. She was extremely helpful!!  Her name is Cosette. Just wanted to say thank you again!! My fish made it home-).

I have made numerous purchases over the last year for my kitchen renovation. Some of the e appliances were delivered in a timely manner. However, for my oven and my cooktop it was clear that they sold me something that they did not have in stock despite the items being listed as in stock. So, they rescheduled me at least four times. In the end, I canceled my orders and opted to go through Lowes instead. A decision that saved me time and 800 dollars.

Everything I have bought is defective- broken or overpriced. Last time i asked for help and was sent home with the wrong tools when indeed they had the right ones. Asked about the quality of ceiling fans and was told the one I [purchased was rated as one of the best, only to find out later Hunter has went down in quality. Vanity mirror broken. Nice people.. I know it's not easy to find employees, but Amazon or HD Online from here on out. Oh.. 12' of 12/2 wire $28.00! HD online- 25" for $20.

DONT ORDER ONLINE OR FOR HOME DELIVERY ...ordered a Samsung range in October of 2020. received notification was to be delivered November 23rd.  no call no delivery 2 weeks go by I call to get an update no resolution as to why, they say it was to be delivered on the 9th of December since that day had already passed they would reschedule,  now supposed to be delivered on 20th .  Again no call no delivery.  call to check it was put in cancelation because it's been 30 days but it still here n warehouse reschedule for  January 5th no call no delivery, call again they have it figured out talk to delivery agent it's in the warehouse visually confirmed delivery set for today the 13th, no call no range , call again. order has been canceled have to reorder will be here February 23rd.  the irony is it's in the warehouse 60 miles away with my name on it but they won't deliver it,    oh and price is up $100. so when I reorder it costs more

I identified a dishwasher I wanted to purchase and on the website, it said it was available in the Bozeman store. I went to the store to purchase and the woman explained that they did not have any models in the store. She looked it up and said it showed one in the warehouse. I said I was ready to buy it. She told me she was not comfortable selling me the last model as it might already be sold. Hmmmm? She went on to explain that multiple stores might be selling that one model so I might lose out but would not know for weeks. I said I'd take my chances b/c it got great reviews and was a good price. She then said she would not sell it to me at all since she was only covering in the appliance area. The woman I needed was at lunch. She went and got her off her lunch break to sell this model to me while I waited. Once we were ready to complete the purchase, they asked what date I would like it to be delivered. This is not installed - this is simply when they can bring it to my house. The date was 6 weeks away.

I went across the street to the local store, bought a model that was $350 more which could be delivered on Saturday. The installer might not be ready then but that won't take more than 2 weeks. It's worth the extra money.

I understand staffing shortages but I can't imagine there aren't a few times when the store is slow that someone could simply bring the dishwasher 1 mile away from the store.

Do not under any circumstances allow home depot to install appliances in your home.  We purchased a new dishwasher from them with install.  Installers came out and wouldn't install the dishwasher citing that they don't install that product.  They removed our old dishwasher and told us to go in and get a refund for the install.  Thats it.  At 2am we woke up to a flooded bathroom downstairs from where the dishwasher goes.  We went upstairs and found that they had wrapped the water supply line in a towel and shoved it in the back of the hole where the appliance goes and never shut the supply line fully off.  Since then Home depot themselves have done absolutely nothing.  They filed a claim with their insurance who has ultimately denied the claim because their installers said they told us there was a problem with the lines.  They didn't say a word.  Prob because there is nothing wrong with the lines.  They just didn't shut then off all the way.  Home depot has taken no responsibility here at all.  They have no paperwork showing they told us there was a faulty Line (because there wasn't) and every time I call into home depot the give me the run around and never call me back.  I still sit here with damaged drywall waiting for a decision from the insurance commissioner.

The sales person in the appliance section did not know anything about dishwashers, that did not really matter because I did my research on-line. I was told the dishwasher I wanted was in the warehouse and would be delivered to the store within 2 weeks. for me to pick up.  However, after 2 weeks Home Depot called and told me the sales person filled out my order wrong so the order was never processed, and that the dishwasher was now sold out and I would have to wait 5 months for delivery. Typical poor Home Depot service and experience.

All I have to say is Jeremy is seriously the sweetest guy that works there!! He remembered mine and my sister’s name today after only telling him once- weeks ago!! Such a cool person.

Problems with my carpet purchase and installation from start to finish.  Not yet resolved because no one will return my call.  My carpet was installed in such a way that two long, very apparent  seams run right through the middle of my living room. The carpet on my stairs pulled up the first time I vacuumed.

Always hit or miss with customer service. Most a miss. Closed isles for no reason, when asked I was told I couldn't go in even though no work was happening. I guess they don't want our business. Inventory is always scattered. Once I looked for a door for over 45 minutes. Online said they had 5, they really had 1. Go across the street instead.
