After the second treatment i had dead brown spots in 3 places on my lawn.  Called and sent pics.  The owner came and apologized and said the spreader was probably stuck and promised to plant some new turf in the dead spots. 2 months and nothing called again and was told new rurf had not come in yet.  A year later and still no turf and the nerve of the company to ask if i was going to renew.  Under no circumstances use this company.

Landscaping design and installation experience was good, fast and very reasonably priced. Saved me thousands and the job was done in a matter of days. Impressed in Goose Creek...

Will not respond or return when having problems with sprinkler system! Put in brand new sprinkler system and destroyed my landscaping lights! Refuse to come out and fix those! Sprinkler system is not coming on as it should, have been waiting for almost a week and still, no one has come out to fix the problem! Will NOT recommend this company to anybody! Very disappointed and Very dissatisfied! They got their money, now they are history!

I want to begin this review by stating I have given Southern Green every chance to minimally deliver on their service. I purchased an annual service in addition to $2,600.00 for a sprinkler system and front yard replacement of Bermuda sod nearly 10 months ago. I contacted Southern Green eleven days ago for the following: to cancel my last few treatments, take possession of my sprinkler head adjustment key/tool and a layout of my irrigation pipes so I can aerate my lawn, and as usual - there has been no follow-up or follow through.

They did a good job installing the irrigation system and laying Bermuda grass - at which time I acknowledged how happy I was with their service and Paul asked if he could send his marketing person out to document my positive feedback in an effort to combat all of the negative reviews. Consistent with their M.O., unsurprisingly no one ever followed up for my positive feedback, if they had, I might be eating crow with this review. Given their history and the fact that they failed to return 2 weeks later to make adjustments to any of the 14 sprinkler heads, I should have cancelled then.

Their lawn treatment has been the most disappointing aspect of their service. Southern Green DID NOT provide more than one treatment at the appropriate time based on payment of an annual service contract... each service was executed only after I contacted the company to remind them my service was overdue. My weed problem is exponentially worse after eight months of service. After a recent retreatment, my grass turned whitish/gray while the weeds flourished both in color and growth. After contacting Southern Green in March to request in detail of what was applied to my lawn, I was instructed I would receive an email explaining application ingredients and a supervisor would be out to discuss the service... which has yet to happen - No surprise there. I was assured after 3 treatment applications my yard would be weed-free, yet 6 treatments in and my lawn was infested with weeds - much worse than before I contracted their services.

I spent nearly $1,000.00 in April on Podium, Chelated Iron and a specialty fertilizer for warm weather grasses - along with equipment to apply these treatments. I contacted the office and left a message to immediately terminate any of my 3 future lawn applications, since I have purchased my own application supplies and treated my lawn to revive it from their last application... I did not want them to overtreat my lawn.

After reading the horror stories/reviews related to poor service, failure to deliver, untimely refunds, etc. I realized I should've heeded the negative publicity. I haven't once requested, nor am I requesting a refund for the services I have cancelled. I am simply accepting the cost incurred as the price for the lesson learned. Hopefully others will learn from my loss, as I will NEVER do business with Southern Green again.

A credo from their website displays "At Southern Green, it’s not just about business, it’s about client satisfaction, which is why the team is always ready to go to an extra mile to serve the customers in the best possible manner, regardless of whatever their need may be"... how can they make claims to go the extra mile when they can't even pick up the phone. They won't deliver or follow up on the simplest of customer service basics? BUYER BEWARE!

Don't waste your money and use these guys.  They are a joke.  I was with them for 2 years and the service just got worst.  The customer service is by far the worst i  have ever seen.  No follow-up and when you do hear from a manager it is 2 weeks after you have made several calls with complaints.  Each year in July/August, the technician would treat my yard with something and a week later my grass would turn brown for the rest of the summer.  They would come out and paint my yard and said it was because of the lack of water.  Please note, I have a sprinkler system and is scheduled to come on 3 times a week with several minutes per station. Don't waste your time or money.  I wish I could rate them a minus -1.

Paul acknowledged that the sod had a fungus and told us to wait till Spring when he would replace the damaged lawn.
Months later, numerous texts and calls that go unreturned.  False promises and no communication.
Avoid being disappointed and disrespected.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

What happened to Marlin happened to me as well in Carolina Park. They scammed me out of $100s, ruined my newly placed sod lawn and half my shrubbery, then had the audacity to try to charge me for applications they put down on my lawn AFTER I called them 3x and emailed them not to touch my yard.  I gave them every chance in the world to make this right and they won't even return calls.  I flagged down one of the workers in the neighborhood and he said even he can't the company's management to call him back. Total scam. Coast me $1000's. If there was a zero rating...I'd give it.

Had them come treat our lawn. Been getting service for almost a year. The treatments were supposed to kill the weeds, crab grass and clover. It was also supposed to help out lawn be healthy and it looks worse
