I have had Pure Prairie Organics for my lawn feeding and weed control for many years. Weed control has been minimal, with the feeding the most important thing. Using Organics means that my lawn is safe for pets, always, and that the slow nature of an organic feeding helps the lawn flourish all season. I get 3-4 feedings each season, from early Spring to later in the Fall. The fact that I've used their service for so long tells you how strongly I can recommend them. Organics only, please!

These tracks started showing up the day after they fertilized our yard, but they stated it wasn’t their equipment that caused this. They wanted to fertilize our yard again to “make it green” but since they didn’t know or wouldn’t say what caused this, we said no. I asked for less than $100 so I could buy grass seed to overseed and they wouldn’t.

Hi and thanks for the note and sorry for the issues with your lawn. Yes I do recall your lawn having issues and that you had one visit from us on 8/9/21. I recall stopping by to check on the lawn and offering a complimentary organic fertilizer application and suggesting the lawn be watered regularly since it was one of the driest springs in 150 years. I see quite a few emails from us with a plan to improve your lawn, and an additional complimentary organic fertilizer visit to help the lawn recover from whatever stress it was going through and you saying that you didn't want us to do that. Since it was not the right time to reseed a lawn I did not think that was an ideal plan. Organic lawn care has been our specialty since 1994 and having the lawn fertilized would help it recover from the stress, I am sorry you take us up on the offer to remedy that situation. The reason we didn't know what caused it is because our machines spray the organic fertilizer in a 10 foot path as we ride them, the narrow stripes were 2 feet wide or so. We also looked at our lawns done that day before and after your lawn and none look similar to yours.

Nothing but positive things to say about Pure Prairie Organics! Very professional and extremely friendly. Every email and phone call is returned promptly. There is a personal touch with each communication, they are open and honest and a pure pleasure to work with. If you are not using them you are missing out!
