  We used Meyer Landscaping nine years ago for hardscaping and plants. The hardscaping didn’t hold up, the crabapple tree they recommended and planted is not disease resistant and has to be removed, and the vanilla strawberry hydrangea is doing poorly. Other shrubs are fine. They were unresponsive when I initially called for an estimate for re-doing the hardscaping , finally came to do an estimate, and then did not prepare an estimate or respond to phone calls. We hired someone else who did at great job with the hardscaping.

  Jose the associate, greet me very politely when he saw me wondering around the trees and shrub area, and help me with full of information. He is very knowledgable with good customer service skill. I didn't plan to buy anything except for shrub or trees, but ended up purchasing roses from him, out of thankful for being very informative and helpful. And the roses are beautiful. Thank you Jose for making my visit here pleasant and informative.

  WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYTHING! After living here for some time now my husband and I decided to do some simple landscaping in our backyard. We had some questions so we figured we would come here since I have heard the commercials on the radio and thought they would be very insightful. WRONG! We were getting out of the car when a man came up basically screaming at us saying "All we have are hostas!" Perfect that's what we were looking for. When we tried to ask more information about simple planting and preferable sunlight he started screaming his answers to us then said "they are all marked go read them!" With absolutely no help what so ever we left. I will never recommend this place to anyone looking to do landscaping.

I am very sorry you had a bad experience, but you were not at Meyer Landscaping Garden Center. Just around the corner from us on County Farm Road is another company (Twin Oaks Garden Center) that sells only hostas. We are NOT affiliated with that business. We are located on North Avenue just East of County Farm Road. We sell considerably more than hostas (although we have a fine hosta selection to choose from). We sell large trees, shrubs, roses, hydrangeas and sun and shade perennials. Please come out to see us and visit us at 27W067 North Avenue in West Chicago. We have the most knowledgeable and friendly sales people who take pride and delight in helping homeowners choose the right plants for their property. I hope we can help you choose your landscaping plants soon!
