  This is a cute little shop. When I went there were plenty of trees, along with garden veggies. The houseplants were not impressive this time. We were happy to find a unique veggie plant - groundcherries! They were grown by the shopkeeper with love and care.

  I cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is! The plants are beautiful and the staff is soooo helpful but that's not what makes this place so special. They do so many wonderful things for our community. This is a gem in our small Madera Ranchos. I bring my children here as a treat to buy local honey and honey sticks (which if you have not tried, you're missing out). They are always holding events for the children and go all out for the holidays. Sometimes we just go to see the latest decorations. Our family absolutely loves Fernwood!
