  I hired Erwin to thatch my lawn and reseed it after I killed it last summer from lack of water. It had many large weeds in it. He removed the dead grass and sprinkled half a bag of seed on it (for about 300 sq ft), and didn't remove a single weed. It was the most terrible work I've ever seen. My mistake was paying him before inspecting his work. When I called his number and left a polite message that there was a problem and that the weeds needed to be removed, he never called me back. He had done work for me before with only fair, but acceptable, results. Never again. This was unconscionable.
