  Richard has been amazing to work with. We hired him and his team to redo our front walkway. The level of service and design considerations have been far above our expectations. The entire team was professional down to the last detail. Look forward to working with Richard again this spring.

  Richard Schipul and his crew have been caring for our gardens for the past few years. This highly creative designer is also dependable, responsive and a pleasure to work with. He possesses an impressive body of basic gardening “smarts” as well as a great deal of technical knowledge. I’ve learned to stop trying to impose my own design ideas on Richard. His are better, so I now turn things over to him completely and let his creative juices flow. I am always surprised and delighted with the results. My neighbors often compliment me on the seasonally changing displays Richard installs at the entrance to our property. After several years, he knows our garden well,, and is always a step ahead of us in maintaining it. Since we travel often, this is a blessing that we are very fortunate to have!

  Richard Schipul is an incredibly knowledgeable landscape architect. He knows his plants, bushes and trees instincutually knowing where each belongs. Although he makes it look like instinct, I know he has attended school and earned a degree in his field. He is honest and fair and his work is exceptional. I would recommend Designing Eden to anyone who wants to turn their home into a castle with the proper plantings and to help with property improvement.
