  This company is used through our HOA, this landscape company damaged our home, we talk to them, they informed us that this would be taken care of, and that’s been about two months ago, and our house is still damaged. I have reached out to this company several times, trying to find out who is responsible ? is it the HOA to get our home fixed, or is it the landscape company who damaged the home. I will say the owner said he would take care of us, but now we get no return calls. The HOA say he is responsible, and I would believe that considering it was his company that damaged the house. Would be more than happy if he would just respond, and give us a date that they plan on taking care of this, before We contact a lawyer, due to his poor response.

  Vivian, In response to your above review I would like to apologize first and foremost for your frustration. The fact is I personally, not the owner of Calvin Landscape, have reached out to you both times I have received a call from you. In no instance have you communicated with the owner of our company. The first time our office received a call from you I spoke to you and your husband James letting you know that the builder would take care of any repairs as they are still in construction on several units in your neighborhood. The builder has all of the necessary materials needed to make the repair quick and efficiently. Your builder was notified by Calvin Landscape when made aware of the damage and were instructed to bill Calvin Landscape accordingly. The second time I received a call, today, November 2, 2021 I immediately returned your call only to get your voicemail. A message was left with no return call as of yet. Another message was sent to your builder expressing your frustrations and they have told me that you would be getting a call today about repairs to your home. Please feel free to reach back out to our office at anytime as it is of upmost importance to Calvin Landscape to take care of this matter in a cordial manner Thank you.

  I have been a long-time customer of Calvin landscaping. Over the past few years their service has deteriorated dramatically. This year, as for years past, I hired them for spring cleanup of my home— which in the past has included trimming all the hedges, pairing back trees and bushes, applying pre-emergent weed control and laying down high quality mulch in bedded. I paid the $700 fee several months in advance of when they finally showed up. When they did, they trimmed absolutely nothing, did almost no weed removal, and did a very inadequate job laying down very low quality wood chip mulch. When I called to complain I was told trimming hedges pairing back bushes and applying pre-emergent was no longer part of the service. In fact, they wanted an additional $150 for the work they did provide. Obviously I refused to pay it and told them I will never use them again.

  I've canceled this service. Last fall, they put down the last application a full MONTH after the first hard freeze when soil temperatures were right at freezing. In the spring they came to do the first application when the soil temperature was 31 degrees with snow due in twice in the following 3 days, followed by another week of massive cold. I don't know if they simply don't have the manpower to handle demand so are way off calendar or there is something more going on. Either way we're DONE.
