Every time I take my, chainsaws, snowblower, or any small engine machine to these awesome mechanics they make the engine purr like new again. Reasonable price, exceptional work. Thanks for being my "go to" when I dont have time.

Took my log splitter to ASJ because I had low pressure and the engine wasn’t running at full RPM. Han said before he could start working on the engine, he wanted to do a “leak down” test because of the age of the motor. I agreed and he called me the next day and told me my engine was shot and wasn’t worth fixing. What I really appreciated was the fact he didn’t just start doing open checkbook repairs on this thing. When I went to pick it up, he suggested a low cost fix for a new motor from another vendor! As someone who is not small engine savvy, I have to say I really appreciate his effort and honesty in dealing with me.

Was referred to come here from a local contractor for my Snowblower parts. I drove from Carson because when I called the gentleman on the phone he was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with my Honda snowblower. His name was Hans I believe. He had every part I needed to get my snowblower working again. He did give me pointers on how to adjust the shoot and also the blade position. Went home and installed the parts and adjusted as he instructed me to do. Now it's as good as new. Definitely recommend these guys.

Cub Cadet provided me with this service provider to repair my 15 month old tractor mower and opened a case for the repair.  First I called ASJ and spoke to the owner, Hon, to make sure that he would be available to work on my tractor and agreed to take it the following day.  I’m about 45 miles away, so I didn’t want to make that trip for nothing.  When I got there the following day, Han was the only person available and he asked if I had brought my ramp along so the tractor could be taken out of my truck.  I replied that I hadn’t been told to bring it.  Then even though I gave him the Cub Cadet’s Customer Service representative’s name and case number, he said that he needed proof of purchase before he could begin the work.  I left the tractor with him and told him that I’d return the following day with the documentation, which I did.  But the following day, despite my order summary from Home Depot and the shipper’s receipt, he still refused to service the tractor until I gave him something showing how much I paid for it.  At no time during my initial conversation with this person was I told that I needed to bring anything except the authorization from Cub Cadet for the service.  I would have had to return for a third time and spend another two hours of my time and travel another 90 miles to deal with someone who obviously wasn’t interested in servicing my Cub Cadet.  When I complained Hon told me to take my tractor and leave.  So I loaded it back into my truck and left.  I have never dealt with any business who was so difficult to deal with because the owner was too lazy to care about the customer.  When I called around to find someone else who could repair it, other people told me that this guy was difficult to deal with ANF the woman wasn't any better.  I can not recommend ASJ in Gardnerville for anything.

Went in to find out about an older saw and the woman behind the counter didn’t seem to want to give me the time of day. She seemed bothered that I came in. I have an older chainsaw that needs a carb tune. I wanted to keep the business local.
