Update - Just added a Husqvarna auto mower from Ace of Blades. Great install team took only a few hours and saved me a weekend! Now to relax and let the mower do the work.

We had not so good experience with Tru green before and switched to Ace of blades 2 years ago and they’ve been servicing our lawn and home  ever since. They’re pretty good at what they do.

If you want a lawn service that will work and rid of your weeds this isn't the company to hire.  I had an issue with weed control, I hired Ace of Blades in early May to treat my lawn for the season.  However, i was having issues with weeds and called them to rectify the issue only to get told they couldn't fix it.  So i hand picked the weeds myself and used Home Depot product to treat weeds that Ace of Blades could not manage.  I disputed the bill and was told I would pay anyway. I want to point on one thing, the made two calls to correct this issue they never resolved the issue, they claim to have treated the weeds and that didn't happen or failed to work.  I would expect a company who supplies a service to use a method that would work, instead I purchased Home Depot products and handled it myself. The weeds were so numerous, that i filled two trash bags with them. If you want a weed free and carefree lawn find someone else.

Funny how people that don't want to pay their bills have so many issues.  Here's the exact email I sent to Mr. Hanson:

Mr. Hanson,

Your wife called yesterday to dispute the bill that is owed for service rendered by Ace of Blades on 6-30-21.  She asked Rachel to have her manager reach out in regards to the conversation.

Here's the timeline of services we provided and communication we have documented:

5-14-21 Early Summer Fertilization and Broadleaf Control application was applied.
5-14-21 Credit card on file was ran to pay for service 5-14.  $0 Account Balance
6-10-21  Call received about weeds
6-11-21 Service call for fireweed performed (As a side note, we can never prevent fireweed.  That time of year, many people are going to have it, and we respond immediately with broadleaf weed control to kill it once it comes up with free service calls.  All we can do is kill it when it comes up).
6-30-21  Mid summer Fertilization and Broadleaf control application--This is the service that has not been paid for. $73 account balance.
7-2-21 Kelly emailed about the credit card on file not going through
7-6-21 Kelly left a voice mail about the credit card on file
7-16-21 Kelly left a voicemail and emailed about the credit card on file

7-15-21 You called requesting another service call, saying "have placed a service call for the weed problem i have and no one has ever addressed it with me.. these are all over my lawn and this happened last year also.. I need a technician to come out immediately to resolve this or you can refund me all of my money paid as your service isn’t working.."

I want to point out, what you said, was simply not true.  You had requested a service call 6-10-21, and we responded by being there to address it the very next day.

7-15-21  Wade, our service manager, went to your house to address the issues.  Here is the email correspondence between you and Wade from July 15-16:

Yes, I will make notes on your account for the technician instructing them to make sure to be thorough with the treatment in those areas.

Good Afternoon Michael,

I came by today to look at the weeds you emailed us about. The grassy weed you have in your lawn is known as Yellow Foxtail. I treated all of the Foxtail today and will return in 10-14 days to treat it again if necessary. It is an annual grass that we pre-emerge for with our first service of the season. The reason why you had an issue with it last year is because you activated our service after we had done the pre-emergent and it was to late to apply the pre-emergent and have it be effective.
The areas with the Foxtail this season have very little grass in them. Either the sod didn't take or they weren't sodded at all. Also these same areas have no topsoil and the soil that is there is very rocky. It is going to be hard for us to prevent the Foxtail and other weeds in these areas. There is no Foxtail or other weeds in the rest of the lawn where the turf is doing well. The services are working as they should in these areas. We will certainly treat any Foxtail breakthrough you have each season but it will likely be an issue each year in these same areas. Please let me know if you have any more questions or concerns and I would be happy help any way I can.

Ace of Blades does a great job for all of your lawncare needs. I have been using Ace of Blades for about 4 years now and their customer service is top notch. I originally went with the company over others because they were local and their pricing was extremely competitive. Even years later their pricing is more competitive and the team cares about their work. Greg has been my specialist for a while now and is always polite and careful around my landscaping. I highly recommend their services and have referred over half a dozen of my friends and family and will continue to do so.

Ace of Blades does a great job. Lawn looks great. Communication is great, they let you know when they are coming, or if they have to cancel due to weather.
Our previous lawn care company had been known to only treat the front yard and skip the back. Ace of Blades has done the whole yard every time.  I’d definitely recommend them!!!

We've only used Ace of Blades for 1 year so far, so I can't yet fully speak to the quality of their work. However, their customer service is second to none. They're always very nice and helpful. Their system is user friendly also, making it easy to view services, view/pay your bill, and order new services. The yard definitely has improved but I expect it to really bloom after this year's applications. Very competitive prices also. I would recommend!

We are very particular about our yard.  We decided we were spending as much on fertilizers and weed killer as if we used a lawn service.  We were extremely skeptical but decided to give it a year and see what we thought.  We have been very pleased.  The man who serviced our lawn was really thorough and when some weeds appeared all I had to do was call them and they were back to deal with it.  My lawn looks the best it has ever looked.  Rachael who answers the phone is very pleasant to work with and I have been recommending their service to other people.  Very pleased.
